Sunday at the Hilly fields?
Sussex Rd
Colchester, Essex CO3, UK

or Highwoods?
High Woods Country Park
Visitor Centre, Turner Road, Colchester, Essex, CO4 5JR

Anyone else fancy a wander in Colchester? Which would you prefer? I know you have never been to Hilly fields, so you might like that walk.

Could you make it over to Hilly fields? Its not that far away from the Highwoods....?

I admit I have a preference for Hillyfields over Highwoods. More places for the dogs, fewer 'dogs on leads' signs.

I wouldn't have time as have to travel over to my mums twice everyday to help with my dad, then I have Shady to walk and milo after that before doing the trip to my parents again. Thats without fitting in my stuff at home. I know its not far but it is when you are rushing around all day, travelling about. There are no restrictions over Highwoods about dogs being on leads except for in the carparks which is for safety and just commonsense really.
I don't mind if you decide Hilly fields, I will join you another time when family is over this crisis.

Last time I was there in the summer they had signs saying dogs on leads past this point at the entrances to the field and lake... which left only the woods area, but if they've gone now, I could be tempted back....
