I would be interested in this too - Tonks has dry skin behind one of her ears, left over from scabs caused by scratching when she had an ear infection.

I've considered vaseline, or simple moisturizer, but haven't actually done it yet!

Evening Primrose Oil is good for the skin and so is Starflower Oil

I use these two oils on my two. The vet recommended EPO at 3 capsules a day (for a 30kg dog). The Starflower Oil is high in GLA and similar to Viacutan capsules from the vet.

Hi there!

On the dry skin put either baby oil or one of the creams/oils for cradle cap (for babies) As the others have said the other oils given as supplements are really beneficial. Hope this helps.

I've been using SOS by fish4dogs and it's really helped with Syd who has always had intermittant scurfy skin for no reason. He had loads of tests and several supplements and shampoos which all failed miserably, Where as SOS had virtually an instant effect.
It's a salmon oil which I add to his food
