Windows Vista firewall, antivirus

I got a new pc today do I need to install a fire wall and antivirus on my pc, OS is vista.

You don't need to install a firewall as like xp vista has it's own one.

But if you do any software that runs on XP should work ok with vista as well.

no i have installed avast, Kaspersky Internet Security 6 as an antivirus works fine with vista if the program is registerd works ok but copies you might have a problem and very difficult to clean anything up the bluetooth is ok for transfering photos or music better than usb cable networking and installing printer on a network no problem with vista you need to install this vista has a problem with java http://www.java.com/de/download/wind...t=www.java.com
