Think it is great that you stood up to this bloke and that he is going to be made an example of, what a disgrace that even officers of the law cannot abide by it! Nice embarrasement for his station I am sure he will have plenty of reprocussions at work over this! Its policemen like this that give them such a bad name!

I'm shocked!! that an upholder of the law would turn and give verbal abuse - even when off duty. I'd try to find out which station he's at and report him, that's disgusting

Have to say that the folk in our area are very good at picking up after the dogs - so much so, that the dog poo bin by the village hall is nearly always full

OH recently had a run in with a policeman who thought he was above using the indicator on his Police Car! Nearly ran OH and Cassie over.

OH stomped straight to the local police station and reported him

I am applying to be a policewoman at the end of the year....hence for reason for giving up smoking & losing alot of weight.
I have been out with the warwickshire police & Thames Valley. They all stick together. This annoys me cos even if you did report him, they wouldn't do anything.
All comes down to paper work, which is 90% of the job these days.
Policemen like this one gives us wanna be's a bad name. We should be setting an example not using the law for rights to which we are not aloud!

Thats just awful - he of all people should of been setting a good example.

Unfortunately in most cases they are indeed above the law. I have two cousins, both seargents and the tales they come away with of their own misdeeds would astound you.

only thing that confuses me is westwood, basically its a huge field and forest where cows graze, horses hack and people go to walk dogs etc ...

i have picked up but i sometimes wonder why as cows dont, horses dont and its like not a playing field or nowt, so dunno
