So sorry for your very sad loss, you did the right thing, I think you know when its time to say goodbye, and you have 17 years of happy memories, and they will live in your heart for ever, thinking of you, xx

Thank you very much for all of the love, hugs and support that you have given to me during the loss of my beloved Shelby Lynne. Although there are 7 others in the home, there is such an empty space that she use to fill. After so many months of carrying her around and taking care of her, I feel so lost. My heart is heavy but your comments have truly helped me get through it all. God Bless everyone!

Hi Trish try not to be too sad, 17 is a very good age for a little dog . Think how much pleasure Shelby contributed to your life and take some comfort from knowing she is now at peace and free from pain..

I lost a Mini 'Amy' last July aged 16 (as mentioned earlier the one in my Avatar) and although I was extremely sad to lose her I know I was so very lucky to have had her as my companion for all those years. xx
Sleep well little Shelby....
