12 day old lab puppies with diarrhoea

my labrador had a litter of 10 pups the first came out but was dead.the other nine followed and was all doing ok.they are now 12 days old and yesterday they started to have diarrhoea it is yellow and watery with bits in. any idea has to what is going on would be a help.as i am starting to worry.

These pups are at real risk from dehydration, let alone from whatever is causing the diarhrea. I really wouldn`t leave it till the morning. I hope they pull through - but they do need a vet - and so does the bitch.

have been to the vets today with all the pups and the mother she did not seem to bothered about it she checked their weight and temperature and gave them an antibiotic jab just in case of an infection starting up. but still worried about it .

If you are still concerned about the puppies and not happy with your vets diagnosis,you can go to another vet for a second opinion;you are the client and it is your right to seek the best treatment for your pups.

with them so young and tiny I would deff call the vet again - they can go downhill so fast

it seems to be getting less frequent now and a little bit more solid ,the vet did check them over tidy, just me probably worrying.dont know how thick it is supposed to be as the mother normally cleans it all up before i could get to see it.
