Err we have 8, and I think that is plenty saying that we do have a farm so loads of space for the dogs to run and play.I only ever have 1or2 (Grey and Culotte) when I am out as the others always stay on the farm .They do all live in the house though so there is really no more room for any more otherwise we will have to move into the barns and I dont think the cows would be happy with that

iv got 4 and that is my full time limite...wallet.i also rescue rehome and foster,to provide proper care to a large number of dogs,my limite is 12.i would not take on the 13th dog.unless there was more than one of me!time ,space ,money and responcibility.

I think 2-3 is a good number. I technically have 3 but only one lives with me since I moved out of my parents. If I had the money/house/open space/free time I wouldn't stop up until 5-6 though
