thanks MM and HD

Finn starts puppy classes on the 16 May so will probably just keep him in until a few days before the classes then I can get him used to being out and about before we go.

I asked about taking Gus out when Libby was little was I was worried he could bring something back for her to catch (Yes Im a worrier I know)

Vet said to take Gus somewhere like the beach as its continually cleaned by the tide

it's so hard, especially when you take them out in your arms and they're really desperate to get down and have a sniff!

Carole someone mentioned to me once that if a puppy was going to catch Parvo after the 2nd jab he would catch it regardless of whether he had been on the floor or not, as it is transmitted by air!

TBH I think the 1wk/2wk thing is a precaution taken by vets.... the same as when the doctor tells you never to drink alcohol on antibiotics... what they don't tell you is that it's perfectly OK to have a small amount of alcohol while on the a/b.... it does no harm but they probably think if they tell people that they will just go on a binge

just back from the vet she said he can go out in a week which means I can get him out and about before he starts puppy classes.
