Who's your vet, Wendy? If you're really worried, give them a ring....

Ive only had one pup and one kitten have any effects after a vaccine and they were a bit dozy for about 12 hrs.
At the practise where I worked we allways told clients that pups/kittens MAY be a bit quiet for a while but to give us a ring if really worried.

Best Wishes with your "babes"

Jeanette

Glad to hear all seems well!
After Amber's first vaccination, she was horribly sick in the car on the way home, so I called my vet in mad-panic mode. Apparently lots of pups have a slight reaction, so they advise keeping an eye on them, and if they are not back to normal within an hour or two, or seem to get worse, they said to bring her back in. Fortunately, after a thirty minute kip, she was back to her normal self.
After the second jab, she was very quiet and sleepy for a few hours, but once she was awake, she was fine.

Zeita has had both her jabs now and the vet said she may well be sleepy for the rest of the day and she was. However there were no other side affects, just unusually sleepy but back to normal the next day

Hope they keep driving you mad (as its always a good sign)
