He doesn't chew up his toys unlike one of my other collies who was a destroyer of all toys. Even the large Kong's she could chew the top off. But to people and others she was very gentle except when hedgehogs were around. Not sure if she heard them squeaking but she would pick them up and throw them. So each night we would have to go out first and make sure there weren't any in the garden.
