How do i know what my dog wants as she barks for everything

Hi, i have a rescue lurcher x german shepherd age 3. she has bouts of barking for attention, and i find it hard to know what she is asking for.she doesn't stand near the door like most dogs do when they want to toilet, so when she barks i bring her lead but she runs off and grabs her toys, so i think she wants to play. If i give her dog food she usually leaves it all day and then barks more in evening because she is hungry, she always wants what we are eating, and will eventually eat whats in her bowl late at night, then she settles down perfectly and is no trouble through the night, Her attention seeking barking is driving us nuts.Anyone else dealing with this?. She also gets plenty of walks, because i always think maybe she just wants to go out, but she won't allways walk and just stands watching everything outside, she also has fear aggression with dogs, and is nervous around heavy traffic and strangers. I am trying desperately to socialise her . we have only had her 3 months, and will be moving house soon to hopefully a bit quieter area.I would be glad of any advice anybody, thanks

On the bright side I'd say 3 months isn't that long for her to settle. GSDs need a lot of stimulation. You could just try playing with her more often rather than keep offering her to go out if she doesn't seem to want that?

On the dim side I have quite a few GSDs around me here who bark constantly! I wish I knew a magic solution. I've had two and they both barked at people at the door or anyone banging on the back fence but that's about all.

I've got a terrier type now - a minpin and they LOVE to bark! You can see how much she enjoys it as she does it!
