Europe For Dogs 2011
My name is Peter Kilfeather and this Summer I will be doing a 3500 mile solo cycle through Europe, to raise support for a self-funded dog rescue shelter that is desperately in need of more support.
The dogs urgently need basic necessities, such as food, worming tablets, bandages and flea and tick treatment.
'Prietenii Nostri' dog shelter (English translation: Our Friends) needs support now, both to continue rescuing dogs from appalling conditions and to feed the 500+ dogs they take care of.
In June I will be volunteering there for a month: The shelter welcomes those willing to help.
I am posting here because we really need the support of fellow dog lovers, to help prevent the situation from worsening any further.
