Still missing my Ollie

On May 21st it was the first anniversary of the sudden death of my beautiful EBT Ollie. I'm filling up just thinking about my baby boy. He was just 6 years old, and the sweetest, most loving boy you could ever be hope hope to meet. He adored my children, and they him. He loved it the most when he was lying at my feet with my youngest son draped over the top of him.
According to our vet, Ollie was poisoned. We know who did it - but can't prove it. I sat up all night with him until the end, because I wanted him to know that he was loved until his final breath and beyond.

What a terrible way to lose your dog. And such a lovely looking boy as well.

I lost my boy over a year ago and I still cry every time I think about him, but happy memories overcome the sadness eventually.

Thank you, he was a really handsome chap. I know what you mean about the memories. I laugh at some of the things he would get up to...but then that makes me miss him more, wishing I could still be laughing at his silly antics.

I am so sorry. It is hard enough when they die of natural causes. What a terrible thing to happen. It does take a long time to come to terms with losing them.

Dreadful circumstances in which to lose your dog and it must be so very difficult for you to come to terms with his death

The pain and grief never completely go away but, in time, they fade to manageable proportions.

Your lovely boy is safe in your heart and will walk with you always in your memory.

thats so sad, poor Ollie That must of been an awful experince for you, its hard to bear when your dog dies of natural causes.

Try to focus on the good times you had together and that you gave him a great life.

Take care.
