Fergus, Crossbreed, DOB 10 - Godstone, Surrey


Homing Requirements: Fergus needs a family behind him who have an understanding of large dog ownership and can support him as he adjusts within a new family's routine. Fergus has some scars on his head but is receptive to meeting dogs and shows no signs of dog aggression so we can assume he was attacked and psychologically this has left no mental scaring.

His Story: Fergus was found stray and the pound went all out to save his life as he won their hearts as he has ours. Fergus is newly neutered, chipped and vax'd. Fergus is currently in emergency kennelling in Godstone, Surrey.

Advert: Fergus has the large dog comfortable in his own skin and comfortable in the company of his people air. He has intelligence and such a ‘dear love’ personality his owners will be overjoyed to meet him that’s for sure! Not witnessed in a domestic setting we have been hoping for a foster opportunity. We envisage no major issues as he isn't destructive in his kennel and appears clean. He does drink a lot but we have checked his blood profiles and there is nothing showing of concern. Fergus is keen initially on his lead but soon relaxes and is easy to walk and meets dogs well with a sense of play.

Fergus is large Mastiff x dog with a deep red coat and black muzzle. He has a broad Staffie head which is as soft as velvet, to match his temperament. Fergus doesn't appear to have been mistreated. Fergus is a willing and engaging dog who is sensitive to his owners needs and is not leapy or licky but more snuggly!

Please note that this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found.
