Ivan Leonberger - Off on his hols

Hi all

Just back from hols. This is a picture of Ivan as he headed off to kennels. He had a fantastic time spent all day out running around in paddocks with lots of doggie friends which isn't something he gets to do that much. He had a blast but when I took this pic I felt soooooo guilty!!!

Thanks all. My husband dropped him off cause I just couldn't go there. But the kennels are the best I've found yet. It's not state of the art by any stretch of the imagination far from it in fact, but it's all about the dogs. That have huge runs where dogs that can be mixed are. They are out all day weather permitting instead of spending the majority of the day kenneled, there is a lake for swimming, they are fed raw meat and veg I didn't actually think he'd want to come home but he gave me lots of snuggles when he got back, just sat on my feet and buried his head which is his favourite thing to do. The girl said he is just a big lump of love. Not an ounce of dominance of aggression in him (which I already told her but still nice to hear) He loved all the people there and looked after all the other dogs he was with. Bless him I was so proud!!

We went to Centre Parcs for the third time and had a fab time. Couldn't have picked a better week weather wise.

Ohhhhhhhh I'd have done anything to have that gorgeous boy Ivan down here for his hols, we have a pool and everything for him, but sadly, you had to pack him off to the kennel coz I'm much too far away for him LOving that pic, and I'm sure he had a great time as well as you by the sounds of it! He's such a gorgeous, great big hunk, I bet he got cuddled to death in that kennels
