Coughing up blood now :( *urgent*

Please can anyone offer advice? The old dog in my thread on pneumonia has today started coughing up blood he can't settle anywhere, won't eat a thing - and he looks all miss-shapen his belly is a bit distended, his ribcage is blown and his sides hollow. He's in such a bad way and we really don't want to lose him

He went back to the vet today and had more antibs and steroids and lungworm treatment just in case - but this really has us worried We've phoned the vet, and we're just waiting for him to return our call - any advice?

xx

I am so so sorry to read this..........it really is a vet job now, and the sooner he is seen again the better.

I do hope that your vet returns your call quickly.

Must be horrible having such a fright, just try and stay calm (know it sounds easy) but it's the best advice i think most people can give

Spoke to the vet - he says it's an abscess on thelung which has now burst, and all we can do is keep up the treatment - he could go one of two ways with it really

xx
