...and if Ferelith Somerfield doe'snt know a good dog then no-one does - what are the KC doing ?????....the fall out from this Crufts will be VERY interesting indeed !!!
Well I agree that I have seen worse
But I am not sure that that is a glowing endorsement

I think crufts has to be honest about why the dogs are not passed by the vets else it is just going to be a giant farce that helps noone and disscredits crufts

If the vet report that is currently circulating around a certain social networking site is genuine, the Clumber is suffering entropian, conjunctivitis and canker.

And a judge sees fit to place it first.

It discredits the rest of the winners as well IMO.

Why is the cavalier not included in the health checks?

It's actually appalling if the report is genuine (and I've seen it from three or four sources now) as it is against the principles of the health testing to release the vet reports and also, at a guess, against the law surrounding data protection.

It's also, of course, appalling if true that the dog was even shown, let alone placed.

Just seen this as well

Vets will be looking for signs of ectropion, entropion, corneal damage, dermatitis, breathing difficulty on moderate exercise, lameness and skin disorders.

Corneal damage might explain the others.
