Life expectancy of your chosen breed?

Was talking to my parents today about my doglets and we got on to the subject of how long they live, now, Shar pei's do not have the longest life expectancy and on average only live 8-10 years but this got me wondering and thought it would make an interesting thread, well, for me anyway

So,

What breed of dog do you have and what is their life expectancy?

Miniature Poodles supposedly have the longest lifespan of all breeds averaging 15.5 years!

It is reckoned that my breed has an expected life span of 12 years but so far all mine have managed more. I have a bitch of 14 that is not unusual and several have reached 16 remember one old boy who was shown as a veteran at 16 and enjoyed every moment of his time in the ring.

A chap that lives around the corner to me has two mini Schnauzers and they are both almost 15 years old, I always say to him when I see him I hope Asti lives to that age.

My last JRT was 14 when I lost her, some go on much longer and some less, so for Milo I would guess approx 14yrs.
Shady being a crossbreed all I can say is my last pedigree GSD lived to be 12yrs old and I am not sure on the average age for Rotties so I would say somewhere between the average for both breeds.
