Yes Shona, there's no way you can sell him to this guy, as you (and just about everyone on here) knows, a dog will take his time to make sure he is in the right home, he can't just be moved in and instantly be a guard dog, dogs are not machines you can switch on and off.

Also, there's likely a bit more to the story about the attacker and the guy who was attacked, was it a robbery that went wrong or did the attacker enter the home with a vengence about something else that had happened previously ?

Anyway, Vinnie is a beauty and that last photo is a wonderful shot of him and (I assume) your son.

Hun there is no way on earth I'd sell a dog to anyone just for protection , jeez some people nowadays are that nasty that they would kill the dog too . . . .
