Have just been reading through these threads, amazing how many of us have had similar probs with our sons.
I hope he has got in touch with you - as the others have said though you can't blame yourself. We do what we do at the time, I've done exactly what you have done, tip toed around over the years with kid slippers and then lost my rag and said stuff...........we're only human after all.

Any news yet. I'm so, so sorry to read this, you must be at your wits end. Have you tried ringing his friends? Maybe someone will know where he is....No news is good news hun.

Keep strong I'm sure it will all work out ok and he will come home soon with his tail between his legs. Perhaps he just needs a bit of space to work out where to go from here?

I think you should report him as a vulnerable, high risk, missing person to the police. Tell them your concerns about his mental state. They can do a lot to track him down that you will not be able to do. Good luck, I hope he's ok.
