What a lovely great pudding of a dog I hope that your partner's son makes a full and rapid recovery, but whatever the timescale, it is bound to be a wrench to give this boy back.

He looks really huggable! I hope Adam recovers speedily and well - crutches and dogs definitely do not mix so you might well be correct about having Alfie until after Christmas.
