Silly moggy

I was woken at 1am by a rather distressed sounding miaow from out front..so panicking slightly I get up and go out to find Mocha cat looking at a very small but frightened mouse and looking more scared than the mouse...

It was hilarious, she was expecting me to rescue her from the fierce mouse who was shaking like a leaf. I picked it up, and deposited over beside the burn where it was less like to terrify Mocha.

Mocha in the meantime was watching from the safety of the fencepost of our garden....

Wouldn't be so bad if this was her first mouse, but she's 5 years old and has caught birds before now. Minx is the mouse hunter so I guess Mocha pounced before she realised what she was pouncing on

Poor puss, being under attack from the evil mouse!
