My friend who lives in Lowestoft, Suffolk was telling me she sees Wolf hybrids there and what lovely dogs they are. Must admit I would be terrified!

Because Wolves aren't the same as dogs and the hybrids she was talking about were apparently not using Wolves back in generations past long ago, but recent crosses.

Don't know how true this is though-seems unlikely.

I don't know why you would be terrified either. I started to look into 'wolfdogs/hybrids' a while ago along with other larger breed dogs, they seem to be shy, gentle and loving, if nervous of strangers initially from what info gathered(lots more beside) I decided that in my present circumstance would not be responsible or a good idea to have a dog of this breed here with us . I will definately consider the possibility sometime in the future and as with all dogs think they are very beautiful.

No, they are WILD animals and should NOT be kept as some "trophy" for egotistical wannabes!

didnt really want to discuss the merits of breeding, it was more what happens if unsuitable owners get hold of these dogs as you have stated these dogs are unsuitable for some owners, i just dont see the point...we have enough so called dangerous dog breeds in this country as it is due to irresponsible owners ...why breed a dog with as much unpredicability as these wolf dogs have....wolves and dogs through natural nselection parted company years and years ago. why put it back out there

P.s love the running gsd post lol x
