Katie, Patterdale X, DOB 08 – Gatwick, Surrey


Homing Requirements: A terrier family will adore Katie, but she'll need to settle and may be a little reticent initially as she weighs up their situation and places her trust with most people this is instantaneous. Unaware if she has lived with children. She did get skittish in the vets but this was under duress.

Her Story: Katie was found stray tied to a rucksack. Her homeless companion came forwards to claim her but could not afford her retrieval fee. We took her out of a pound where she was frightened. She had had pups in the recent past from what we can tell, now neutered and undergoing vaccination. Currently in boarding kennels near Gatwick, Surrey and awaiting foster or a home of her own.

Advert: Katie is a little rough diamond who is desperate for a loving environment to thrive in. Katie is a straight forward little Miss Terrier with a little reticence about her make-up, but bats her eye lashes in the hope that her human friend will deliver a treat or a measured stroke. Katie reminds you of a little bird. She is seeking refuge, love and comfort. She will find and love routine and security.

Katie is a small wire haired Patterdale about 6 years old with a little greying on her beard giving her a very wizened look. She charms dogs and people but isn't too comfortable with the lime light just happy in her merry way to potter and survey what the bees are telling her and to catch the wind to tell of smells approaching.
