Just spoke to surgery and am fuming!! I told her that my vet has not got the report through yet and that there is no record of the test on the KC site. Mr Fraser is not there until Thursday and only he knows about it so I have to call back then at 6.45pm precisely!
She also said she has never heard of this report/KC registration and suggested that as he wasn't being tested for breeding that might be why it isn't done. I explained that at £95 for a consult I would expect to have had a record of his findings by now, especially bearing in mind there is a possibility he may one day go blind!! Unlikely I know but still!
Please can someone give me a clear idea of what I am to ask for so that I'm armed with it all when I call on Thursday.
Thanks chaps.

If they were health tested they will come up with their scores, put Monty's posh name in and he will still come up, telling you he is a boxer, it will just say he's had no tests done.

Unless you have had Monty heart scored , there will be no results.

But his parents who should have been scored before breeding, will or should be on the Boxer Heart Score list, with the Boxer breed council.

Also the results of his parents tests.. should be in the BRS

Is that Frasers on Caldicott road Abingdon, I haven't heard off him ripping people off before, he is normally a great vet, my family have been going to him for years, I was surprised to see his name, he has given us and others discounts, and allowed us to pay him as we can and not push payments. I hope that Fraser has reasons for this, as he is the best vet I know, what vets are you at now? As I know that Abivale are close, but if I was you I would be careful of them to, as I hear loads of bad things about them ripping people off. Hope you get answers though.

Its nice to know he has a good name.

As in most professions,(well doggy ones ) the specialists are usually well known, and most come with good reputations.. as they will be few on the ground.

Who said that, your vet .. surely they have heard of the BVA eye scheme... and it does not matter if he is breeding potential or not..once the test is done, it is automatically sent to the BVA to be recorded...

Woody is KC registered is`nt he.. would it matter if he was not.. surely it would still follow the same pattern..
