Amanda, I'm so sorry to read your update about your mum potentially not having long left.. that must have been a shock It really does feel like life hasn't been fair in that respect

I'm glad your mum is settling in a little better to the hospice though, that's really good news that shes starting to feel a bit more comfortable.

It's just such an awful thing to go through; my aunt suffered for months in the end, just lying in bed in a neck brace whilst her body and bones struggled against the cancer. It is such a cruel illness and whilst its always too soon to say goodbye its never nice to see people suffer from it.

I am so sorry Amanda, all you can do is take one day at a time, and take heart, your mum will be getting the best care possible in the hospice.

Take each day as it comes,life is so unfair,my mum also died of cancer after a two year fight she was 39 yrs old.

She never got to meet her son in law or grandchildren but I believe and know she's with us everyday x

My heart and prayers go out to you and your brother, Amanda. You will be going through shock as well. It is such a traumatic and emotional time for you both.

The doctors told me that mum had between four hours and four days. She had only been ill for 3 days. She was only 64.
