all very good and everything, but who said anything about apologies and justifying yourself?

if its so important, as you say, why isnt the info available on the petition, as in more actual facts, and ideally a link to a website?

otherwise, why would people sign?
a premise which applies any petition for any topic.

Hi Cally,

Thats great that you are doing something to help. Can I ask you what products the eucalyptus are in, I know you say treats but you also mention bedding too? I very rarely shop at PAH but it would be good to know which ones they are if they are hidden ingredients. I have piggies and rabbits myself and have many friends that do too. I would like to be able to advise them on the dangers and what to avoid. Any info would be great.

But as I've said I do have a large and respected
organisation confirming that eucalyptus is toxic,
I have done my homework and asked people who
would know about ecualyptus, the trouble is in britain
noone knows much about it,I can confirm that it
is put into cough medicine and throat lozenges, but
it has been diluted,in it's pure form it is lethal.
If people don't want to sign then that's fine, but
as I said this is for the animals, they can't speak for
themselves,so someone has to do it for them.
If you bought something for your dog to eat and it
was toxic but you did'nt know and your dog died
from eating this, you would'nt be very happy would you?
no,because you would think the company that made the
product would know better, this is what I'm trying to
stop.
I never said anything about justifying it..im merely asking for proof of it and also where there is definate information relating to this product and its affect on animals.

I never sign any petition without seeing more info and in depth information about what im being asked to sign.

I`ve tried to find out about the toxicity, and whereas the leaves & bark seem to be toxic to cats, there is also information about it being used in some medicines for skin or respitory conditions so I`m a bit confused.
Why would people sell things as treats if they will poison your pet?
