The new house :D

Thought you may like to see where we moved to!

here's our gorgeous new house! Needs a splash of paint outside, and the garden needs doing. There's not tooooo much to do now it's had a good spring clean!

rat shed:

and inside... sorry there are so many pics!

(the view from the window halfway up the stairs)

No pics of the spare bedrooms as yet, because they're still like building sites haha! But will hopefully sort them out soon!

hope you like it... I know I love this place... and I couldn't be happier about it!

Oh it is beautiful, how old is it? Do you know it's history? I love that you have kept all the authentic features like the internal doors etc. I love the wood panelling on the walls. the view is to die for. you lucky thing you.
Elaine xx

ps Are you going to re-instate the inglenook fireplace in the kitchen,. That would be georgous if you could.

we're only renting it so we can't make any drastic changes sadly. I would love to buy it - and do a few bits to it - and yes, I would re-instate the inglenook - but it's not to be. I doubt my landlady will sell it to me, because it's been in her family since just about the beginning!

I don't know its history sadly - but I think it's about 150-200 years old, and parts feel like they haven't been revamped since then! it's really lovely!

xx

ooh and yes vicki, that's his favourite spot!
