Hi,

Can anyone help me, as some of you know I do quiet a bit business on Ebay, however there charges etc are becoming a bit too steep.

So I have been thinking of starting up a e-shop, however I don't know how to build a webshop/website, does anyone know of a anywhere I can info on how to get started? and also if there are any freebies?

Thanks in advance.

Ian

What do you sell Ian?

You could just build a 'normal' website and simply add 'pay with paypal' links? Then you just get charged a % and a fee per transaction.

You can get e-shops for around £20 a month if thats the route you wanted to take (but you still have to pay a % and transaction fee)..

Hello eRaze,

I mostly sell book, both new and secondhand. It sounds as though I would be better off building a normal website, (how?) I don't really want the overheads of paying a largish money outgoing.

Thanks.

Hello Ceiron,

Thanks for the offer, I'll take you up on that if I may. The only thing I'm wondering about is, could I alter what I'm selling on it, i.e. I won't have a lot of any one item, if you know what I mean.

Just tell me what you need from me and I will report back to you.

Thanks very much.

Ian

You can use freewebs to build a website & add paypal for online payments I built one & made all the gaffix for a friend who isn't into doing websites

They do have advertising after 14 days but you can remove it for as little as 10$ a year by having one of the premium features, if you d that you can add as many pages & images etc as you like

This is my friend's website Magnawobbles
