Norty cats!!!!

Came in from walking the dogs this morning and went upstairs to do a few jobs, looked in my son's room to be greeted by this sight........

First tank contains stick insects and the cage had a hamster in it! No hamster in sight but four circling cats

After some searching.....

I was very relieved to find Sparky and popped him back behind bars!!

Next job and really not my favourite recapture the stick insects

and the final escapee to be captured......

Not very impressed with my afternoon!!!

norty cats indeed!!! how lucky was little sparky!!!!! thank goodness he found a safe place!

the stick insects made me laugh as i kept them as a kid and my mum was always worried to come in my room as they would keep escaping and she'd find them on my pillow!! i don't mind them when they are little but can't cope with the bigger ones.

Yes he was fortunate and people think cats are killers of small furry things, in my experience they are far too lazy. I only knew where he was as Jason was mooching about in that corner!

Our stick insects have just had babies We now have 34 Anyone want to start keeping stick insects?

God that was a lucky hammy, we even had a ragdoll turn hunter once , not what you would think of the breed, but then just as he and your cats showed, cats normally do the opposite of what you think that there gonna do.

Sorry but it did make me laugh, loved the piccies to go with the incident.
That is one lucky Hamster, and as for the stick insects I love those things but I dont think quarantine would let them through
I think cat number two did it, it (sorry not sure boy or girl ) has a look of contentment only destruction can bring out, all the others look too indignant or 'what are you talking about' look

You can't be too vigilant with cats and hamsters.

A hamster will break out of any cage to frame a cat.
