I was told this is quite natural and that wolf cubs regularly eat poo as part of their diet.
Tala doesn't eat poo but is a licker. I think in any case saliva is an antiseptic and cleanses their tongues so probably not too much to worry about.
And she most definitely gets kisses

I kiss them, especially Syd if he has been particularly clever he gets a noisy kiss on the head. I taught all of them as pups to shake hands, other hand, and give us a kiss. He loves it and will come over and nudge for a chin tickle and a noisy kiss on the snout. If i say "give us a snog" he gently raises up on his hind legs and plants a smacker on me.

I kiss my dogs more than I kiss my o/h, and now that I've got a new puppy, I seem to spend most of my time on the floor kissing them. I draw a line at tongues, but they can kiss me on my lips anytime!

I kiss & cuddle Sox all of the time. Although he does only get kisses on top of his head.. I like to think that he enjoys the attention but sometimes he has that look on his face as if to say "oh, come on Mum!"

YES! i always cuddles and kiss my puppies - which my husband also thinks is gross!

I don't let them lick my face or mouth though - that IS gross!

But cuddles and kisses on the head - definately!

I would like to point out that this is a complete lie! Takara can snog like anything when she feels like it

I am still recovering from my last encounter!!

My lot all would like to kiss you but as they also would like to wash you thoroughly, including up your nostrils and in your ears I prefer it is they don't but then again, since when did what i want make any difference to them!

after all, it is perfectly reasonable and acceptable to leap on the kitchen table after meals for a cuddle isn't it....... well it is according to Gretchen anyway

No I don't, and I can't stand it when any dog licks me anywhere........ completely unacceptable and unclean in my opinion.
