Was it a black and tan Kita pmsl, my fella was in the vets earlier with one of ours! (he wouldn't say a thing like that).

What did he mean? That he thought Thunder was going to go for his dog?

What a wierdo. Poor dog living with that.

Lol, no it was a brindle type colour, but more caramel if that makes any sense and the owners were quite old, he must've been in his sixties.

Yeah, he thought Thunder was 'going' for his dog. I did think it is people like 'that' who give Akita's a bad name sorry to say that, but that is how I felt.

ps the dog was huge, one of the big ones that I mentioned in another thread (months back when we were discussing size). Not the tall, tall ones, but quite tall and very wide. Thunder is 28kg and looked small compared to this dog. Not that they were side by side but in my mind eye.

this is out of order to judge a dog by looking at another dog as you walk through the room. if the dog didnt look i would be worried to be honest.

was the akita well behaved?

Yes, the Akita who looked like an older dog was laying at the male owners feet. I actually thought what a lovely colour he was and after watching Hatchi, and seeing Akita Girls Akita's on here, I have a new appreciation for the breed. This was whilst I was checking in at the vets.
