The Supreme Sacrifice

I met our friend Angela the other day. We know her through the dogs; her Merlin is the litter-brother of our Kali. Just before we acquired Snorri, she acquired a pretty little BC bitch called Panda (short for "Pandemonium"!!!).

Recently, her parents lost their BC, Bess, to old age, so they came up here for a holiday, to forget. They did, however, fall for Panda - so Angela has handed Panda over to them, permanently. I think this was really rather noble - I'm damn' sure I could never have done it. Not in million years.

It will be quite a culture shock for Panda, going from Orkney to the Midlands, but now she will be an "only dog", which, we suspect, is what she always wanted to be.
