Looking for something to stop trojans

Can anyone recommend anything that stops trojans getting in to your pc?

I have AVG, Spybot, Adware and a Zone Alarm firewall.

I have had 4 over the last 2 days I have downloaded a trial for Trojan Hunter which removes them though its only a 30 day trial then it costs $49

cant help ya there carole. I have loads of em on my pc even with firewalls and virus scanners.
I really think these virus scanners are a waste of money, they either find the virus's and say they cant get rid of em or they dont find em

There are loads of stuff out there for you to use carol but he best ones i my opinon are

Norton internet serurity

Kaspersky

Nortons is a big resorce graber but it does the job. I have tried av and like you still got inffected so off it went. Don't waste your time with the windows firewall it dosen't do a good enough job. I fyou have installed SP2 disable the firewall as SP2 really only works on it's own stuff like improving the security one microsofts own stuff.

After market firewalls are generally better that the on board stuff that comes with windows.

There are some things you can do to help prevent them..

Dont go to 'message boards' as people can post any type of file. (message boards are not the same as forums like this one)

Dont use MSN

Don't open .exe files

thanks all.

My desktop PC never gets them its just the laptop and they have the same antivirus and firewalls.

will have a look at Norton again. I had it before but deleted it when the subscription ran out.

Is MacAfee any good, my sister just bought it and can give me that but I dont know if its as good as Norton.
