can u really feed tripe raw??/??

ive been feeding indie tripe with her meals for a while now, since shes a fussy eater. Firstly i gave her beef, raw.. and it stunk. So i got her the chicken one, and even tho it said i cud feed it raw, i still cooked it.
She seemed to have gone off that, so i picked up some rabbit one, that had a bit of chicken in it, and it said i could feed raw, so i did. But now shes thrown it all up!!!
Do i need to take her down vets? is she gonna be ill from the raw chicken bits??

Yes you can feed tripe raw. Some years ago when I had border collies they absolutely loved it. Have not seen tripe for years. We used to have a tripe shop in the town but long gone.

Put is this way I remember my dear grandmother eating tripe with my father. They used to cover it with vinigar. Never tried it myself and dont think I ever would but my dogs loved it. I would feed it to my little ones now if the tripe shop still existed.

Tripe comes from ruminants - sheep, cows, etc.. Don't follow your reference to chicken & rabbit tripe?

Anyway, if you feed green tripe do not cook it as it will smell absolutely vile - far worse than raw.
