great training for lubo(he still jumps at visitor's)
there big and strong and he only wants to greet them
and they do have thier work clothes on ..so nowt spoiling

when i had my kitchen done i had to go get the kids from school i told the work man i had to go out and he said he would be ok to carry on as long as the dogs where out of the way wich i made sure thay was i told him the boy can open doors but he said he would only be there five more min so off i went i was 20 min at the most i came back and hes mate said your f.....g dogs got out and hes mate was stuck in my flat for 40min but i was only 20 after that i had to have some one stay in with them till i got back
i reported the guy cos the girl up stairs said she heard him open the front room door and shout oh f.... cos saber barked at him

Ladies your first line of defense is your dogs, use then for your advantage. Do not over socialize them by having a strange person give them cookies/treats, this teaches the dog that every one is friendly and in this world today we know that is not true.
I'm sure you have pleanty of family with children and other pets for that experience. let strangers BEWARE!
There are many cases of people who dress like service men or police men that are really bad guys, be careful, stay safe.

This wouldn't have been possible, this guys was so OTT and borderline drama queen in his approach I actually had to call my OH downstairs as this guy was about to leg it down the street because of Fern - it was a ridiculous situation.

I agree in some instances this can be done but it really wouldn't have been possible with this guy Fern gets loads of socialisation at the park as he is well known out and about because he's so sweet awwww.....

that's just ridiculous what a silly man! i have has the same situation with the gas man and plumbers who ran out of the front garden when they rang the door bell and buster ran to the door barking but with tail wagging.


i mean Buster can look a bit scary sometimes but u r only in danger of being licked 2 death!

honestly if Buster was any harm 2 anyone i would keep him out of the way but of course these workmen refused 2 enter until he was locked in the garden! argh

sod that! no chance would china be kept locked away if anyone was scared of her to the point where theyt wouldnt come in then they shouldnt have a job that involves going to peoples homes!!! there is a reasonable chance they will have a dog!

if they dont come in report them!they arent doing their job satisfazctorily....the only way she would get put away was if she eally was aggressive to strangers other than that id tell em to stop being such a wuss, get in and do the job!

Had the same thing when My Meg was 5Months old...Forgot about the Border collie Sign Out side, Be ware Border collie....you,ll get Licked...My Brother Made it for me....
