MC, it was used for racing it was very sad, the dog was still alive after having its ears cut off, it was PTS

Vets do the chipping themselves, not sure if they do the tattoing actually??
I dont think they do tattoo, so they probs prefer chipping

Just don't like the thought of Fern having a massive tattoo in his ear...it also makes me think back to war times yes I know, a really stupid thing to think

I can see the benefits of having a tattoo though, as I can with a chip. Ohhh it's so confusing....

No problem I do know what you mean, if the breed is pri.ck eared the tatoo will be visable, i guess i dont really notice as TJ has tipped ears, just uploading pic for you

My dogs are chipped, i have heard of tattoo but never seen a dog with one, as already said they both have there possitives and negatives, as gem said with a tattoo people can cut there ears, but what about that poor dog that had a chip and they used a potato peeler to try and get the chip out,sick!
