Hair loss

Hi ppl, was just wondering about this little problem that i have encountered,
A few months ago my female came into season and as i didn't want no pups i kept the male apart. He didn't appreciate it but it was better than an unwanted pregnancy. Anyway, to cut a long story short he ended up with a virtually bald ear and bridge of his nose. I tried numerous solutions to speed up the regrowth including 'bob grass' ointment which was highly advised and evening primrose capsules.
Its definately a hormonal problem and not a skin problem as such.
Has anybody else experienced this problem and if so then what did they use?

I`d see a vet TBH. Stress can cause hairloss, but this seems a bit localised.
