Budget Day Thursday 16th March 2023

Morning all. I wonder what delights the budget will give to us all? Not a lot I suspect. Anyway have a good day whatever you get up to. Dull and grey here with a bit of the damp stuff. Not cold though.

The budget was yesterday and no nothing in it for us unless you drink spirits then the duty went up. I don't so no affect on me

Damp first thing but the sun is now trying to come out. Teazle walked and I have cleaned the outside of my car as it was gray and not blue! Only have to take Maria to gymnastics this evening and Ben will pick her up so an easy day. I think I have both school runs to do tomorrow and of course horse riding. Their mum arrives next week so I should have an easier time for a month.

It's rained here overnight but it's drying up now so the washing that wasn't ready to go out yesterday before we went shopping I will pop out in a bit.
Dehydrating some banana and apple to see how it comes out done with the housework and not much else to do today.
Not really gardening weather.

Chris I hope the door for Gary gets sorted out asap. I'm not at all sure what's happening at the moment with everything. Seems the planets are all aligned wrong. Plus incompetence.

Sigh, another email from the union.....he will forward it for me to read to him, they are now backtracking and saying to reject the pay deal.....wonder if I was right, they had done away with the back pay and retention and now it's only just been realised by the drivers. He is sooooo easily led, I am going to have to have serious words with him, he doesn't understand how the union works and the people he works with.....well, I wonder how they have survived in life! They think that if they vote to accept the deal, they can go to work even if the majority say no...they fail to grasp that the deal hasn't been accepted

I read him the email but it was pointless anyway as the strike is back on

I have gone back in time by watching a programme about the Cavern Club.

No Lynn, it isn't, there's been another offer this evening, it's crap, the ballot opens at 4am tomorrow and is open until midday Saturday, after that, if not accepted, they are out. I should get Steve to drop his scooter off so I can scooter to the train station and then I will be able to see him lol
