Can anyone help me with Mindy??

She is in the third week of her season... hopefully nearly finished. aaah!!!

We can get back to giving her the normal exercise..... great

Molly is 10 years old, and I have forgotten how it can be......

Mindy keeps trying to hump her..... Little Molly is soooooo upset by this, and is getting terribly grumpy with Mindy. I am afraid that Mindy will end up being hurt......

Is this normal behaviour for a bitch on heat? Is she likely to settle? She is booked in to be neutered at the beginning of November.

We have REALLY looked after Mindy whilst she has been in season, with regards to her exercise etc, with no problems at all, but I feel sooooo sorry for little Molly who is a lady and cannot cope with Mindy trying to hump her at bedtime!!!!!

Any Help Please?????

Debbie x x

Maybe separate them at bedtime.. I've never had Bitch/Bitch households but my bitch has never humped the others...

Yes it is common behaviour. Maybe it would be an idea to seperate when you are not there and stop her from doing it when you are there.

Agree. We've got two collie bitches with us currently. One has come into season. She keeps trying to mount Tara and the other collie so I just take her out the way as they don't like it at all.

I have been separating them whilst we have been at work.... We are having a new granddaughter in 4 weeks, and have had to use the baby gate for the dogs!!!!!

Its little Molly that I feel sorry for.....

Is this behaviour normal for a bitch in season? Never known it before. She is quite happy with her kong full of cream cheese at the moment;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; but that won't go on forever!!
