Izzy wizzy, please meet Bizzy!

Here she is as requested-sorry for quality of photos. I think it's because it was such a sunny day?

This is when Parker first met Bizzy his new companion on Wednesday last.

Parker is the one in the front wearing the red harness. Bizzy is hidden a bit behind him but you can see she's quite petite for a Kerry.

Here she is on her own-again not best quality photo I'm afraid! Will try to get some better ones at the weekend as we plan on going to the beach, weather permitting.

Thanks for looking.

She and Parker are lovely. I love Kerry Blues. The reason being when I was 14 my dad asked would I like a dog, he had kept GSDs since I was born....Anyways I said yes please a a rottweiler. He went but we got a rottweiler which he was in charge of but I also had an active roll in raising her. Lola the rottweiler didnt have many friends, people and dogs were scared of her and used to avoid us on walks. When I started to walk Lola alone her first friend that played with us without hesitation and prejudice was a blue coloured terrier type with a beard...I wondered who he was..his ower told me he was a kerry blue called Max. and I have admired them and had a soft spot for them ever since

She was really funny today as she loves Parker's toy box. He is very good at sharing bless him but he isn't used to it as Cherry only liked her Kong rugby ball out of the toy box. Bizzy really liked this soft toy dog with a squeaker in it and she kept squeaking it which made Parker really want it. She hid it behind the beanbag in the lounge but Parker found it and then she duffed him up a bit

She then went for a wander in the garden with it in her mouth and then she made me laugh as she dropped it near the backgate and shed and procceeded to kick leaves over it to hide it! She is funny.

I took this picture before she finished covering it with leaves. You can almost imagine her thinking "no, he can still see it!"

Ah that's a lovely story. Shame people avoided your dog on walks. I don't as long as I know the dog's friendly.

One of Merlin's oldest friends before we moved, was a Kerry named Finn.

He didn't have many dogs he actually liked - Portsmouth was full of dogs, too many really, and he was afraid of or actively disliked most of them.

Yes, there is such a thing as over socialisation! particularly of the wrong type, and he was attacked several times while growing up.... bloodless, but affected him nonetheless. Too many bad dogs and bad dog owners in a high-density area - there's probably more dogs per square metre in Portsmouth than there is in London

I digress and I will digress again, I was very fond of Graham, Finn's owner and we always chatted for ages and shared his thermos of coffee in the park, one Christmas he knocked at my door and gave me a bottle of wine I was so upset when I heard he had cancer.... I didn't see him out much after that and I left Portsmouth last year - I have no way now of knowing how he is, but I know his partner will care for Finn whatever happens.

No intention to eclipse your thread Kerryowner, just brought back some memories I've not been able to share before.

I will always have a soft spot for Kerries after knowing Finn & Gray; it meant I felt Cherry's passing slightly more than I let on....

I wish you all the best with your lovely new girlie
