What song..............?

The title of another thread gave me this idea for a bit of fun

What was the first record you bought?
What song always gets you on the dancefloor?
What song would you like to sing on stage?
What song reminds you of someone you love?
What song do you wish you had written?
What song reminds you of being on holiday?

I am away to wrack my brains (shouldn't take to long then )

What was the first record you bought? The first single I bought was Bob Marley and the Wailers 'One Love'
What song always gets you on the dancefloor?
'Come On Eileen' by Dexy's Midnight Runners.....
What song would you like to sing on stage?Ummmm....I am in a choir so aside the stuff with that...ummm.. a Norah Jones track probably.
What song reminds you of someone you love?Other than all the kiddy theme tunes and my son? Ummmmm.....my oH and I don't have 'a song.' I associate lots of music with different people in my life though, but it's hard to be more specific than that. I was brought up around a lot of music so there's so much that evokes memories/feelings/ people....
What song do you wish you had written?
Gosh, good question. Probably an Andrew Lloyd Webber one as they are easy writes (....) and have raked cash in for him.Doesn't mean I like them...just if I was going to write a song it may as well make money!
What song reminds you of being on holiday?Loads...we always buy a CD (how dated are we) when we go away for in the car, although 'I Don't Feel Like Dancing' by the Scissor Sisters has remained IN the car for a few holidays now so probably that one!!!!

The Dirty Dancing soundtrack reminds me of kids holidays I worked on in the 90's...brings back fantastic memories.
