I've been having a look on preloved and gumtree, but most seem to be people trying to sell on their dogs
I don't mind paying a small sum, but there seems to be a lot of older dogs being sold on for quite a bit of money, which I don't agree with.

It was preloved I was looking at, and I agree with you there. I suppose one way of looking at it is if they don't get sold on they'll end up in rescue anyway. Someone on there had an 8 year old male for £50!

I have 3 other dogs in the house (all rescues and all neutered), a 2 year old Dalmatian dog, 4 year old Springer Spaniel dog and a 16 year old Border Collie bitch.

We like long walks and are out for anywhere from 1-6 hours and we like to go to different places, especially forests.

I also have horses and the aim is to have the Dalmatians doing what they were bred to do and come with me on rides (my horse is just starting ridden work at the moment, so watch this space).

I have my own business and work part time, I'm around most of the day with the dogs to go for walks, and will leave them for a couple of hours during the day to see the horses if I am not taking them with me. I try to get my shifts at work in the evenings when there is someone at home to be with the dogs, so they are very rarely on their own.

I do have chickens, but the chickens are separated from the dogs by a fence and dogs are always supervised when outside.

I am keeping an eye on Dalmatian Welfare, Scottish Dalmatian Welfare and the North of England Dalmatian Welfare websites, and looking on dogsblog and other rescue sites daily, but If anyone knows of a young spotted lady looking for a new home, or can point me in the direction of anywhere else to look I would be very grateful.

I'm In Shropshire.
How about this lady: http://www.mayflowersanctuary.co.uk/...lly-dalmation/. There is a male one too, if you look at their main site
It's the rescue I got Kiara from Not sure if they'll rehome so far away but might be worth a call? You are welcome to overnight at mine if you want to come and have a look at her

My parents bought an 8 year old dog from a breeder and she charged them £200!! He was the perfect dog for them but it was sad as he had a heart murmer, bad hips and he was an ex-stud dog.

It is surprising where dogs are advertised as we only got our latest Kerry Blue because someone on here told us about her. She was advertised on "Poodles in Need" website which I would not have thought of browsing for a terrier!

Hope you get the perfect dog for you (and your other dogs of course!).

My friend is currently fostering a lovely one year old bitch for Scottish Dalmatian Welfare.

I met her last night - she's absolutely adorable. Really friendly with other dogs and people. Tail never stops wagging. She's being fostered with my friends own Irish Setter.

Do you want me to have a word with her for you? I'm pretty sure transport could be sorted out.

I did have a look at the Weimaraner pups, but unfortunately Weimaraners just don't do anything for me

I'm getting a bit excited now, I wish she wasn't so far away because I would have gone down earlier this week
