Home Offered to Dalmatian

Looking to add young Dalmatian bitch to my family

I have 3 other dogs in the house (all rescues and all neutered), a 2 year old Dalmatian dog, 4 year old Springer Spaniel dog and a 16 year old Border Collie bitch.

We like long walks and are out for anywhere from 1-6 hours and we like to go to different places, especially forests.

I also have horses and the aim is to have the Dalmatians doing what they were bred to do and come with me on rides (my horse is just starting ridden work at the moment, so watch this space).

I have my own business and work part time, I'm around most of the day with the dogs to go for walks, and will leave them for a couple of hours during the day to see the horses if I am not taking them with me. I try to get my shifts at work in the evenings when there is someone at home to be with the dogs, so they are very rarely on their own.

I do have chickens, but the chickens are separated from the dogs by a fence and dogs are always supervised when outside.

I am keeping an eye on Dalmatian Welfare, Scottish Dalmatian Welfare and the North of England Dalmatian Welfare websites, and looking on dogsblog and other rescue sites daily, but If anyone knows of a young spotted lady looking for a new home, or can point me in the direction of anywhere else to look I would be very grateful.

How far can you travel?

I'm looking up to 2 years, but would prefer around the 1 year old mark, although 6 months or slightly below is fine with me

For the right dog I would travel anywhere, but realistically about 3 hours because of my older girl.

The one i saw was a male 6 months but is marked as rehomed ...::<

daft as it sounds...It might be an idea to keep and eye on the free ads. I have seen the odd dally ftgh. I know not a "rescue" but better your home, than some moron

Thanks for the links, I've just looked on their own websites though and can't see them, so they must have been rehomed.

Have you looked on the pre owned sites? Not rescues I know, but there are a couple on there, 6 month male in scotland, 9month bitch in leicester and a 14mth bitch in leeds. And a 5 year old bitch in Shropshire.
