Can you use word/excel etc.. on a tablet?

Specifically the Dell Inspiron Duo thing with the flip thingy so it has the tablet & the keyboard?

I think I found out that you can if it's a windows tablet but if it's Android there are Microsoft "like" programmes which are similar...... I'm confused.

On the ipad there are Apps that you csn buy & download which are similar to Office

yes for a crimbo pressie - I like the look of the dell one as it's like a tablet on a swivel thing but has the keyboard too.

For Android devices, I think Libreoffice may be available. They were certainly working on a port. Libreoffice & OpenOffice.org are, of course, an infinitely better value for money alternative to MS Office on PCs too.
