Anyone else have named toys?

After reading about 'wilson' the space hopper on another thread.. I was reminded that we have a number of named toys for Kismet, that she knows, loves and can fetch by name.. (Some lasted longer than others)

We have 'Sunshine puppy' a stuffed sun face that she likes to carry about whining and washing it.

'Peter ted' a dog teddy

'Mike Wisowzski' her monsters inc ball

Anyone else have named toys?

I've been training Cain to pick out his toys by name. We have "doggy" for a soft toy dog, "pheasent" for a soft pheasant and "oink" for a latex pig (started out named piggy but it sounded too much like doggy and got confusing). He can pick them out but gets bored of the game very quickly.

No toy lives long enough in this house to name it!

We normally just call them what they are like "chicken" "ball" - however the "loofer" dog toy Tilly got off Secret Santa is called Loofer Vandross

The lady that lives in the flat above my mum and dad has a mini yorkie, all her toys have names, she will go and fetch them if you say the name of the particular toy

We only have one, Dahlia's absolute favourite toy. It's a stuffed fox that we've come to call "Foxy." We can ask her "Where's foxy" and she'll look around and try to find the toy.

Our last dog, still sadly missed after four years, had a heap of toys in her "cupboard" which was basically the space between a chair and the door.

There was:
Squeaky strawberry
Squeaky mince pie
Squeaky turkey
monster
scary monster
duck
trumpet (that one was great )
bit of tat
inside ball
tug
plus one or two others that I have forgotten.

She knew the name of every single one, and we would say "fetch your squeaky strawberry" and she would fling aside toys until she found it. She never destroyed a single one.
