Saddening news today... it seems that the possible two offers of a foster home for Dizzy have not been back in touch so we are now presuming that they were on a whim, and not very committed at all

Dizzy looked very forelorn on Christmas eve when I saw him and as much as I can give him love and cuddles in the warmth of my car, that simply can't compensate the love in a home.....

We have had NO phonecalls as a result of the newspaper appeal either... Someone must be out there who is willing and able to give this little lad the comfort and love he needs?

Oh that's awful news. How can someone offer a home then just disappear? poor little thing. But at least he has not ended up in a home that is only half decent.
I would have thought the newspaper would have helped He's so lovely.
There's a dog magazine that does a hardest to home each month, could you nominate dizzy?
I really want him to find a home

*hugs*

Oh wish they could put Dizzy in it, surely he deserves a place bless his heart?

It tears me up that he is still at the kennels, he is such a sweetheart and so deserves a lovely, warm home where he will be cosseted.

Any updates on this wonderful dog? My 15 year old terrier x bitch is nearly blind and has heart disease, and she is the most affectionate dog you could wish for. PLEASE DON'T OVERLOOK THIS DOG BECAUSE OF DISABILITY.

Sorry, I've had no news so far. It's been a while since I have managed to see him myself due to illness in recent days, but will be posting his christmas eve photo's very soon. As far as I know, everyone who has enquired about him hasn't actually decided to come and meet him

Dizzy is so affectionate too. He just wants a warm home and lots of cuddles and fusses. Sorry to hear about your 15 year old's heart condition Charlie. I can only guess that like us, each moment you spend with her is very precious, just like we are with Dizzy..

Here was Dizzy on Christmas eve :smt049

Looking rather fed up and even a bone and new toys couldn't entice a smile from him
