Adult Siberian Husky ear flopped

My Siberian is 7 years old a happy and healthy member of my family I am concerned he might have injured himself as I have a farm and he is outside running and playing with my other 2 dogs all day. Should I worry or just leave his ear alone. He doesn't act like it hurts and at his age I cannot imagine he is teething. Any and all advise is welcomed.

Hi and welcome along.

If you are very concerned I would take a trip to my vet. Dogs can be very stoic and not show any signs of pain or injury.

If you post in the Dog Health section you might get more advice. In the meantime

Hello Chris and welcome is your dog scratching the ear, does it look red inside. Have you tried examining the ear for signs of damage and comparing it with the other one

That said dogs do sometimes drop/fly their ears for a number of reasons and even for no apparent reason.
Any change of behaviour is worth noting and if the ear problem continues it might be an idea to get it checked by a vet just to rule out any underlying health issues.
