Oh bless her heart in that piccie. Well bless her little cotton sock too. Pink to make the boys wink eh?

Glad that's dealt with and she will be OK.

I'm glad its out for her now, she will feel a lot better for it bless her.

We have endless little shards of glass in the road at edges of kerbs and on pavements. Its those odd stray bits you don't notice unless you walk looking down all the time like I do now.

I wish they would stop selling beer etc in glass bottles. I wanted to start lobbying the goverment about it to see if it couldn't be sold in plastic bottles instead. It would save on violence using bottles as weapons as well as injuries from broken glass out and about. Trouble is I don't know how to go about it.

I think with my little min pin weighing so little it's not likely she would get glass actually pierce into her pads. What she does get is those little 'burrs' that come off shrubs and trees and stick in between her pads. When it happens she stops dead and lifts the affected foot and just waits for me to come take it out! Now if I wanted to look at her foot any of her feet for any other reason there's no way she will let me. Dogs huh!

Nope me neither.

Paddy has gone to lie down next to Pippa which is nice, he doesn't normally venture near her dog bed (that would mean leaving the couch!). He must have picked up on the fact she isn't quite with it.

I think the plus point of glass is that it is reusable. Obviously not the glass that is smashed on the pavements etc. though.

I'd of thought just as, if not easier to recycle as well, and like you say with other factors such as violence then is it not common sense?

Glad Pippa has got the glass removed - she looks a really gorgeous girl and completely at ease in the picture. Hope she is bouncing about again soon.
