Breakfast Kisses & Dinner Licks

Does anyone else get these after each meal?????

Everytime Woody has a meal he comes over, licking his chops and cuddles me, licking my face!!

I wouldn't mind but I feed him fish and potato and the smell of fish on my face in the morning is not my favourite.

Why do you think he does this? Is he trying to share, or thank me or does he just know it stinks!!

mine don't do this after a meal but lily will do it when she has managed to get to the cat litter tray before i have! the telltale signs (if i'm lucky enough to see them before she gets too close) is the little bits of cat litter on her nose!!!

vinnie just trys to rub his stinking chops all over me now, he knows he aint getting away with a kiss, I normaly just nab a towel and give his face a quick wipe,

so for vinnie hes trying to clean his chops off a bit,

Mine like to clean thier faces after a messy meal (bones/liver etc) but they don't usually do it on me....(with occassional exceptions)

Funny Vinnie, although I bet he doesn't stink of fish! Maybe that's what Woody's doing.

So where, how do they do it? It's very random, but then so is Woody ;o)

Yeh Monty does this and in the morning it is usually after I've just got ready for work and put a clean top on!

jake sometimes does this after a meal, but he always does it after a bone lol he always looks at me as if to say 'wow, that was soooo good'

M&M always wipe their chops after eating....

They will have a darned good go at wiping them on me, but otherwise will rub them all over their bed

No, he doesn't bother with the bed or sofa or anything else, he just licks his chops and snuffles his fish face into my hair!!

I found a bit of kibble on my cheek this morning. How nice.
